On Saturday,
December 1 the school held its first electronics recycling drive in conjunction with e-EndUSA, an electronics recycling company

took a field trip to e-EndUSA to learn more about the disposal of computers and related equipment.

Trek for Tech
The Hannah More School Parents' Association 5K Run & 1 Mile Walk was held on Saturday, April 28. The
event was a great success, with more than 160 runners and walkers participating. The 5K Run began at 8:30 a.m. at Hannah More,
continued north on Reisterstown Rd. and then circled through the Chartley neighborhood. Chartley residents and race volunteers
were out in force on the race route to cheer participants along. The 1 Mile Walk was led by school staffer George Rothen,
who led participants on a course on the school grounds. The Parents' Association hopes to net close to $15,000 to provide
new technology and equipment for the school. Thanks to everyone who helped make the 2nd Trek for Tech a great success!
Gigamajig
On a blustery evening
in January, more than 300 supporters, staff, and students of Hannah More School
gathered at the beautiful Grand Masonic Lodge in Hunt Valley for the fifth Gigamajig fundraiser. The theme for this year’s event, “Fly
Your Kite,” lent itself to the creation of a spectacular backdrop for the enormous silent and live auctions, which featured
close to 300 items. The entire space was decorated with brightly colored kites, each one created by students, staff, or board
members of the school. The event netted more than $65,000, which will be used to provide programs and services for students. To view the photos of the event click here.
Student Tales
Students, staff and parents browse more than 40 books written and
illustrated by Hannah More School students at a recent unveiling of their published works. Media specialist Laurie Precht,
center, coordinates the program for grades four through 12. Subjects included NASA, the weather and holidays. One group wrote
in Spanish about artists Diego Rivera, Pablo Picasso and Salvador Dali. View the Community Times Article
